Mississauga Figure Skating Club is home to Ice Precise, a community committed to providing skaters with high quality group skating options in a fun and supportive environment.

 

Ice Precise has three competitive synchronized figure skating teams: Ice Precise Adult 1, Ice Precise Adult 2, and Ice Precise Adult 3. For the past several years these teams have competed very successfully in local, national and international synchronized skating events. They are frequent winners of gold, silver and bronze medals in their respective categories.

Mississauga Figure Skating Club Summer Program

Summer Program

The MFSC Cutting Edge Skating Program runs in July, five days per week for 4 weeks. It includes early drop off and late pick up, as well as programs complimentary to skating, such as Yoga, Fitness and off-ice Jump Classes. Skaters at the Pre-Junior, Junior, Intermediate and Senior levels are eligible to participate.

 

For the 2018 season, the program run from July 9 through August 3 and will feature the following:

  • Daily on-ice and off-ice programs including stretch, jump and fitness classes to develop flexibility and cardio, as well as other off-ice activties
  • Monday through Thursday:
    • The program runs from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
    • Extended care hours are available as early as 8:00 a.m. and as late as 5:00 p.m. at no extra cost
  • Friday:
    • The program runs from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
    • Extended care hours are available as early as 8:00 a.m. and as late as 3:00 p.m. at no extra cost
    • A 30-minute synchro seminar will be available for low-level skaters (Canskate, Pre-Junior and Junior)
  • A tentative test day is scheduled for Friday, August 3
    • Skaters must skate a minimum of 3 weeks in order to test
