The Mississauga Figure Skating Club (MFSC) was established in 1950. MFSC is a not-for-profit organization, incorporated under the laws of Ontario and sanctioned by Skate Canada, whose purpose is to encourage and assist figure skaters. The affairs of the corporation are managed by a volunteer Board of Directors, elected annually at a general meeting of the membership. The members of the Corporation are mainly the registered Skaters, 18 or older, or their Parent, if the skater is under 18. Each member is entitled to one vote at all meetings of the members, except that a Parent may only exercise one vote in total, for all minor children that he/she represents as a Parent or Guardian.
